WALK THAT WAY

dark black all over
like painted for a purpose
and like stains light printed patterns
from the unknown source
like something divine in a dark night
i say you will find the same

i was surprised as i opened my eyes
for the scenes around me were one and the same
the silence was soothing
and there was a mysterious truth
hidden in the layers of each sight

moments passed by as i walked around
stained myself with colors of happiness
i played with joy in the night of eternity
never i thought of what was beyond
i guess happiness overgrew curiosity

i was sleeping on the ground of dew
when the walls started shaking
and drops danced in fear
and rolled into one other
the rust of times mixing with them too

the view was a like dream
i felt like drifting with the wind
i gazed my purple wings
and i took flight, less i cared
the new world became my playground

as i lost myself to the pace
i still resisted my inner self to let me hold myself back
i felt more numb as i crashed into the cobwebs
and all i could see was a lonely night
and someone sitting alone with dark moist eyes

air was mixed with muffled cries,
i saw my wings smeared
with black of the cage
as i twisted for freedom
i twitched my brain
all i found was pain
i say you will feel the same
when you walk that way…

last thing i wrote was a sign on the ground
with the last drops of blood left in my veins
as i prepared to sleep the final time
thankfully i could remember my name
i inscribed it there and i say you will do the same
when you walk that way…
