I Promise Myself...

I won't let myself down
I won't let the fire extinguish inside
I promise myself i wont just fade out
though it is hard to keep alive
but it is not the reason to die
there are enough reason to keep up the fight

I do not hate this night of ignorance
but I promise myself the day light
I m going to walk through this land
and I do not care about any signs
I will not get blown away in sands of time
I know I will carve my way outside

one day I will shed the clothes of silence
and flow like wild wind again
because my time is not over yet
and I promise myself, I will not stop trying
whatever you tag me, I will not deny
I believe in my soul and I will not loose everytime

I promise myself I will not fade out
rather I will burn , to light up the pathway of life
it is not easy to keep me down
as I have learnt the lessons of life, the hard way
and I promise myself they shall pay
I will claim what is mine and till then I stay

I promise myself the day i die
I will not have to complain about life
that , I did not enjoy the ride
rather the way I travelled here
it will be difficult for heavens
to decide and try me one more time ...

This one came up when I was in Mumbai. Let me tell u it can be pretty hard to sleep alone with thousand thoughts of a-monster-under-the-bed or a-ghost-behind-the-curtain  and all those creepy things ... ;) :P

The Unseen Fears

I run along unknown shadows
They are behind me everywhere
Flying past me are unseen fears
They Hit me straight in my head

I fell down and roll, but then I rise again
Only to find ground one more time
They surround me like thick air
I keep fleeing from flying fears

I trade myself to fears every night
I understand but I keep quiet
I cannot stand my ground
I feel ashamed deep down

They live in my backyard
I am so numb to feel anything now
They have become a part of my life
Unseen fears in me taking me away..
